Teleflex completes distribution initiative

LAS VEGAS — Teleflex Marine has completed its centralized distribution initiative, designed by the company to improve order processing and delivery service for its customers, Teleflex said in a release from the Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show in Las Vegas this week.

The company said the changes will benefit a wide range of customers.

“Today’s announcement is the culmination of an important improvement project that began in the fall of 2006. We’re pleased to unveil this important next phase of our new aftermarket distribution strategy,” said Tom Douglass, vice president of Sales and Marketing for Teleflex Marine. “We’ve listened to the needs of our aftermarket customers and implemented changes that simplify the ordering/receiving process and shorten our in-season lead times for all Teleflex Marine products.”

To provide the best possible service and support, Teleflex Marine’s customer service and technical service experts will remain readily available in the company’s Sarasota, Fla., and Limerick, Pa., facilities.

“Our overall goal is to make things easier for our marine aftermarket business partners,” said Douglass.
