YMU adds registrar, releases symposium dates

KENNESAW, Ga. – Yamaha Marine University has added Jennifer Christ of VRZ Consulting who will work as registrar and will be handling dealer registration and managing attendance for the upcoming YMU programs, Yamaha Marine Group reported in a release this week.

“Jennifer is an excellent addition to the team and, with her help, we’re putting together the best dealer training program in the industry,” said Martin Peters, Yamaha Marine Group dealer education manager.

YMU will also begin conducting a new three-day symposium for dealers entitled “Competitive Advantages,” The planned course looks at how to achieve higher profitability and CSI levels by creating competitive advantages throughout the dealership.

This year’s YMU Symposium will take place Nov. 13-15 in Orlando, Fla., and Dec. 4-6 in Las Vegas.

YMU encompasses both technical training and dealer management training. YMU technical training offers a range of curriculum designed with the ultimate goal of creating a consistent customer service experience across all Yamaha Marine dealerships.

YMU dealer management training offers product, sales, service management and overall dealer management curriculum. A complete 2007 YMU Resource Guide can be found in the Yamaha Marine Group Marketing Guide, scheduled to arrive at dealerships in mid-July.
