MERRIMACK, N.H. – Following the success of its first such venture, Raymarine has launched its second mobile showroom, the Ray-3, the company said in a press release yesterday. A licensed captain staffs the boatshow-on-wheels, which is bringing Raymarine’s latest products to various locations across the Mid- Atlantic.
Replicating the original Ray-4, the 32-foot-long Ray-3 comes fully loaded with a comprehensive line-up of Raymarine products, including the C- and E-Series multifunction navigation displays, the A-Series dual function displays, RayTech RNS 6.0 software and Marine Weather service from SIRIUS Satellite Radio. Additionally, the mobile showroom will exhibit Raymarine’s HD digital fishfinders, radar, autopilots, wireless remote technology and more. Self-contained with its own power supply, the Ray-3 also has a plasma TV, wireless Internet and an indoor helm.
“Following the enormous success of the Ray-4, we were eager to create a second mobile showroom to showcase our latest marine electronics to an even wider range of boaters,” said Todd Hoskins, Raymarine senior vice president. “Focusing on the Mid-Atlantic region, the Ray-3 provides customers with the ability to experience our technologies firsthand and have their questions answered by our expert staff. We’re excited to increase our reach to boaters in the Mid-Atlantic with the launch of the Ray-3.”
