MIAMI – The weather is pushing back the start of the boating season for many regions, suggested Info-Link, which has updated its Bellwether Report through March.
“Unfortunately there is not much to get excited about with the March-adjusted rolling averages,” commented Jesse Wells, Info-Link director of Sales & Marketing. “The ski boat segment is the only one that saw an uptick. However, March was a cold month for most of the country, so the percentages are still reflecting a smaller base. The next 2-3 months will be much more telling.”
Info-Link’s February Bellwether Report, which is based on registrations of powerboats 15 feet in length and above, is available for viewing at: www.info-link.com/bellwetherreport.asp.
