Forest River acquires Priority One

ELKHART, Ind. and ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Forest River, Inc. has acquired Priority One Financial Services, Inc. from its founder and president, Lisa Gladstone, the companies reported today in a joint statement.

Priority One will continue to be managed by Gladstone as founder and president and its current management team, all continuing to be headquartered in St. Petersburg.

Priority One, founded in 1987, is a finance and insurance (F&I) outsourcing company currently serving over 600 marine and recreation vehicle dealers throughout the U.S. Priority One says it provides all of the benefits of a professional, in-house F&I manager while reducing expenses, distractions and potential liabilities.

“Our acquisition of Priority One is another important step Forest River is taking to partner with our dealers to make them the most profitable, best managed and financially strongest dealers in our markets,” stated Pete Liegl, president of Forest River. “I believe strongly that each of our dealers should consider developing a partnership with Priority One to help them close more sales, increase profits and limit liability.”

“We are very excited to join the Forest River team,” stated Gladstone. “With Forest River’s market leadership and significant financial strength, we are now better positioned than ever to provide powerful solutions to our dealer partners.”

Forest River is a U.S. manufacturer of leisure vehicles, including motorized and towable recreation vehicles, utility trailers, buses, boats and manufactured houses, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. (NYSE: BRK.A and BRK.B).
