ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Priority One Financial Services, Inc. has been awarded a $57,540 Incumbent Worker Training grant from Workforce Florida, Inc., to fund 36 percent of the company’s 2007 training programs, Priority One said in a release yesterday.
Recently, all new and experienced Priority One loan consultants were offered certified training through nationally recognized finance and insurance trainer, Ronald Reahard. The company’s grant will be applied towards employee training programs similar to the Reahard training, in addition to other instruction that focuses on sales techniques, customer service and computer software.
“The funding that this grant provides us will build on the expertise of our employees and will effectively position us for future business,” said Lisa Gladstone, president of Priority One Financial Services. “The grant will also enhance the ongoing skill training that enables our entire staff—from loan consultants to dealer account executives—to exceed our customers’ expectations.”
Workforce Florida, Inc., is the state’s Workforce Development Agency.
“Priority One’s focus on its employees has always been one of our core commitments,” said Heather Gentry, vice president of Operations at Priority One Financial Services. “This grant strengthens the foundation we created that allows us to offer each employee the opportunity to attain the highest level of professional achievement and meet their goals.”
