MIAMI – To handle its growing customer base in and near Los Angeles, Viking Life-Saving Equipment has established a new service facility there, the company said in a statement yesterday.
“Part of Viking’s focus is directly addressing our customer needs and it was imperative that we have a facility to serve Los Angeles,” said Al Osle, Viking’s managing director for the Americas. “The nearby Long Beach area also is very important to both the cargo and cruise ship markets. It is the third largest container port hub in the world.”
The new building is two miles from the Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach. It provides 11,000 square feet of space and is staffed with three experienced Viking employees. Misael Mejia will serve as the service manager.
