MarineMax ad agency wins award
TAMPA, Fla. – Pyper Paul + Kenney, an ad agency that lists MarineMax Inc. among its clients, has been named one of the top three creative agencies in the United States in the small agency category of the American Association of Advertising Agencies 2007 O’Toole Awards for Creative Excellence, the company said in a press release yesterday.
For consideration for the honor, agencies were asked to submit any combination of broadcast and print advertising, including television, radio and interactive. The AAAA’s O’Toole Awards for Creative Excellence recognize an agency for all of its work.
In April, the Brass AAAA Pyramid Award will be presented to PP+K and the other finalists at the AAAA National Management Conference in Naples, Fla. The final rankings will be announced during the conference.
“We set out to prove that with the right mix of creativity, talent and experience, an agency based in Tampa could win national accounts and the most highly regarded awards in the industry,” said Paul Daigle, PP+K president.
PP+K was established in 2004 and it has 30 employees. In addition to MarineMax, the company serves national, regional and local companies, including Sweetbay Supermarket, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Tires Plus, Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Circle K, HSN and Jailhouse Fire Hot Sauce.
