Turning Point’s 2006 sales up 18 percent

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. – Sales for Turning Point Propellers increased 18 percent in 2006, the company reported yesterday in a release.

Adam Kendall, the company’s director of marketing, say the sales increase was due to the continuing effort of dealer sales support.

“Our progressive, total package marketing approach provides much-needed added value for the dealer when buying propellers,” he said.

With the recent addition of its Prop Wizard Internet prop selection program, Turning Point says it now aids the dealer in every aspect – purchasing, merchandising, customer service and referrals.

Prop Wizard program suggests a speed/cruising prop and a water sports propeller simply based on boat and motor information.

“Many boaters aren’t sure which pitch prop they have and it can leave the dealer frustrated in helping their customer choose a new one,” said Kendall. “With the Prop Wizard, anyone can confidently select the right prop for their boat.

“The Internet is a powerful force in today’s market, so we do everything we can to use it to drive more sales to the dealer. Our progressive approach to the propeller market is what has boosted our sales to the highest mark ever.”
