ABBRA adds new training course

WARREN, R.I. – The American Boat Builders & Repairers Association has added “Gasoline EFI” to its 2007 training courses held at the New England Institute of Technology in Warwick, R.I., ABBRA said in a release this week.

“Gasoline EFI” provides marine technicians with a hands-on training approach to electronic fuel injection with fuel and component function and testing procedures for GM-based EFI inboard and I/O engines.

ABBRA’s 2007 training includes:

  • Basic Diesel Engine Training Technician Certification, March 26–27 and Oct. 1–2, 2007
  • Advanced Diesel Technician Training, March 28–30 and Oct. 3–5, 2007
  • Composite Certification–Introduction, Feb. 19–20, and Oct. 1–2, 2007
  • Composite Certification–Advanced, Feb. 21–23 and Oct. 3–5, 2007
  • Topcoat Application, Feb. 19–21 2007
  • Gasoline EFI, July 17–19, 2007
