VENTURA, Calif. – The Ehlert Boating Media Group has launched Purely Pontoons, a unique new publication devoted entirely to pontoon boats, pontoon equipment and the pontoon lifestyle, the company said recently.
The slogan for the new title is “All ’Toons, All the Time.”
“Purely Pontoons magazine has been met with nearly universal enthusiasm by pontoon builders,” Jim Hendricks, the magazine’s publisher/editorial director, said in making the announcement. “It seems to be the right title at the right time.”
Purely Pontoons will deliver 100 percent pontoon content, with glossy, full-color features focused on the latest models and accessories, as well as insightful articles on how to trailer, launch and load a pontoon boat. Others features will guide readers through the process of selecting and equipping a pontoon boat.
Debuting as an annual this spring, the magazine will be distributed to a unique and dedicated list of waterfront property owners and boaters with a keen interest in and a high propensity to buy and use pontoon boats.
Veteran boating journalist David Kodama, firstname.lastname@example.org, is editor of Purely Pontoons. Kodama also serves as editor for Ehlert’s BWB (formerly Bass & Walleye Boats) magazine.
