NSBA and AMTA agree to work together

WHITE POINT, Nova Scotia – The Nova Scotia Boatbuilders Association, representing boatbuilders and industry suppliers in the Maritime provinces, and the Atlantic Marine Trades Association, representing members of the recreational boating industry in the Atlantic provinces, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate, with the common goal of achieving sustained growth of the boatbuilding and boating industries in Canada’s Maritimes, AMTA said in a recent statement

“Working together gives us an opportunity to prove that the Canadian Maritimes have an exciting and viable boating industry to the rest of North America and beyond,” said Pat Nelder, AMTA executive director.

Tim Edwards, NSBA executive director; Jim Snair, Sunnybrook Yachts and AMTA chairman; and Arthur Theriault, AF Theriault & Son and NSBA chairman signed the MOU with Nelder.
