Landing School to hold job fair
ARUNDEL, Maine – The Landing School will host its 8th Annual Job Fair April 6 at its facility in Arundel, Maine, the school reported recently.
The event continues to be the largest marine trades recruitment forum on the East Coast, last year attracting over 50 companies from across the United States from as far away as Washington, Canada and Florida. Collectively, over one hundred employment positions were represented in marine systems, design and boatbuilding disciplines.
This June, 24 boat builders, 21 marine systems technicians, and 16 yacht designers will graduate from the Landing School after 10-months of intensive education. Most will find jobs in the marine trades, bringing the number of Landing School graduates actively working in their chosen field to over 1.200.
