NMDA conference draws more than 200

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – More than 200 participants from leading marine product distributors, manufacturers and manufacturer’s representative firms are attending the 2006 S.T.E.P. (sales, training, education, purchasing) Training Conference the National Marine Distributors Association is hosting, NMDA said in a statement yesterday.

The four-day conference concludes Wednesday. S.T.E.P. is an educational opportunity for sales professionals, accessory manufacturers and manufacturer’s representatives to learn more about products, product marketing, customer service and support.

S.T.E.P. products training seminars started yesterday and take place through Wednesday at the conference. At a general session today, business-to-business sales training consultant Jim Pancero will present the workshop, “You Can Always Sell More – Are You Good Enough to Get Better?”
