IMI brings training to Olympia, Wash.

WARREN, R.I. – The International Marina Institute, a subsidiary of the Association of Marina Industries, is traveling to Olympia, Wash., to bring its Intermediate Marina Manager program to the West Coast, the continuing learning arm said in a press release today. The IMM class will be held Feb. 25 to March 1, 2007 at the Phoenix Inn in Olympia.

Calling it the “next logical step,” IMI representatives stated that its presence on the West Coast has been growing slowly since IMI’s inception in 1986.

“Over the years, the demand for IMI courses on the West Coast has amplified,” said Gregg Kenney, AMI chair. “We’re responding to queries and requests from our members and those outside our membership to provide quality training across the United States, as well as Florida, Rhode Island, England, and Australia.”

Class fees, including lodging at the Phoenix Inn, breakfasts, lunches and all course materials; are $1,695 for AMI members, and $1,995 for non-members.
