Project USA partners with San Diego YachtFest
SAN DIEGO – The Yacht Report will bring its American seminar Project USA to San Diego in 2007, partnering with the San Diego YachtFest, the company said in a press release Friday. The seminar will be held at the city’s Manchester Grand Hyatt.
The city is increasingly becoming a “must” stop for larger yachts coming up from the Mexican Riviera and Baja California, which stop before setting out for the South Pacific, Hawaii and Alaska, event organizers said. With increased facilities and services available, San Diego has been emerging as a West Coast cruising destination.
YachtFest, which will take place Sept. 13-17, will be a launch pad for Project USA 2007, event organizers added.
