Century Boat Company adds to dealer network

PANAMA CITY, Fla. – Century Boat Company, Inc. has added four new dealers, including Deese Marine Company of Conway, S.C.; Razor Yachts of Huntington Beach, Calif.; Boat Tree South of Melbourne, Fla.; and Hossack Marine of Harrison Township, Mich., bringing its dealer network total to 48.

Beginning in the 1930s, thousands of Century boats were produced in Manistee, Mich., along the banks of Lake Michigan. Now the brand has “come home” to Hossack Marine, just north of Detroit and four hours from Century’s previous manufacturing facility of 60 years.

“Century continues to seek tier one dealers in key markets, and we are excited about increasing our presence nationally, as well as re-introducing the new Century brand to previous boaters and anglers in the Michigan market, a place very familiar with the Century name,” said Dean Burnett, Century’s vice president and general manager.

In addition to strengthening and building its dealer network, Century has launched an aggressive production schedule of four new models for 2006, including the 1850 Dual Console Mustang, 2001 Center Console, 2400 Walk Around, and the 2301 Center Console.
