Scout Boats raises $3,000 for Red Cross

SUMMERVILLE, SC – During the 2006 Scout Boats Dealer Meeting, held Sept. 23-25, Scout employees and its worldwide dealer network raised $3,000 for the American Red Cross to help with the latest hurricane relief efforts by raffling off a six day/five night stay at the host venue for the event, Hawk’s Cay Resort, located in the heart of the Florida Keys, the company said in a recent release.

“Our Scout family is proud to donate 100 percent of the proceeds raised to the American Red Cross,” said Dave Wallace, vice president of operations for Scout. “Everyone chipped in to make this event a success, and it’s our way of giving back to the communities in need.”
