Genmar boat companies recognize suppliers
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Genmar Holdings LLC’s boat brands recognized their suppliers with an appreciation dinner in Key Largo, Fla., the company reported in a statement yesterday.
The brands acknowledged the suppliers with awards for Special Recognition, Innovation and Supplier of the Year. Criteria for winning the Genmar Awards were quality, delivery, performance, innovation and cost. Each boat brand chose the award winners from among the many suppliers it uses.
Carver Yachts presented its Special Recognition Award to North American Composites, while Supplier of the Year was awarded to Marine Associates.
Four Winns Boats selected Formco for its Special Recognition Award, while Supplier of the Year was awarded to Teleflex, Inc.
Larson and Glastron Boats presented Special Recognition to Sharpline Converting. Supplier of the Year honors went to Marine Hardware, Inc.
Ranger Boats presented North American Composites with its Special Recognition Award. MinnKota earned Supplier of the Year honors.
Seaswirl Boats bestowed its Special Recognition Award to Teak Isle Manufacturing; its Supplier of The Year honors went to Michigan Composites.
Stratos and Champion Boats gave its Special Recognition Award to T-H Marine Supplies, while the Supplier of The Year Award went to Unique Functional Products.
Triumph Boats recognized Carver Industries, Inc. for the Special Recognition Award. Custom Mold and Tint, Inc. received Supplier of the Year Award.
Wellcraft Marine presented its Special Recognition Award to Florida Marine Tank. The Supplier of the Year Award was given to Tampa Armature Works.
Among the Genmar Holdings awards for overall appreciation were Special Recognition Awards, which went to Syntec Industries, Inc., Inland Plywood and Marine Hardware, Inc. Genmar’s Innovation Award went to Volvo Penta, and Valspar Composites was awarded the overall Supplier of the Year Award.
