Coast Distribution System makes Forbes list
MORGAN HILL, Calif. – Marine industry aftermarket replacement parts supplier the Coast Distribution System, Inc., has been ranked by Fortune Small Business Magazine as one of the top 100 fastest-growing small public companies in the U.S., the company reported in a release.
Coast was ranked No. 18 on this year’s FSB and was the third highest among those 100 small public companies in terms of stock performance, for achieving an annualized return of 142.5 percent for the three years ended Dec. 31, 2004, the company said.
“We are pleased to be ranked among the top 20 fastest-growing small public companies on the FSB 100,” said Thomas R. McGuire, chairman and CEO of Coast. “During the last three years, our stock performance has mirrored our operational performance, as we increased our top and bottom lines through operational improvements, market share growth and new sourced, propriety products.”
