Executive awarded for software implementation at Genmar
WESTON, Fla. – Ultimate Software has presented Dave Mahler, vice president and treasurer of Jacobs Management, a sister company of Genmar Holdings, Inc., with the “Honorary Award for Financial Management Excellence” Monday night, the company reported in a release this morning.
The award was presented at the 3rd Annual American Business Awards in New York City.
Ultimate Software, a provider of Web-based payroll and workforce management solutions, said Mahler was selected for “outstanding achievements related to his leadership in Genmar Holdings’ successful implementation of Ultimate Software’s hosted service model, Intersourcing.”
Ultimate Software said since rolling out Intersourcing, Genmar has experienced an annual cost savings in excess of $500,000 through the elimination of service bureau fees, increased HR and payroll productivity, and faster and more efficient reporting.
