GEM Products hires development manager

ORANGE PARK, Fla. – Marine stainless steel hardware manufacturer GEM Products has hired 14-year product development veteran Thomas Baker to manage development of new and enhanced products, the company said in a recent release.

The move was made on the heels the company’s seventh straight year of double digit sales growth and a first quarter sales increase of 24 percent, according to GEM.

Most recently, Baker served as a project manager for Hager Companies of St. Louis, a manufacturer of more than 5,000 types of architectural and residential hardware, including stainless steel hinges.

“Thomas is a tremendous addition to our team,” said Matt Bridgewater, President of GEM Products. “We have some exciting new products on the horizon and Thomas will help ensure that the GEM tradition of excellence continues for years to come.”
