Viking signs new rep group
MIAMI – Marine safety products manufacturer Viking Life-Saving Equipment has appointed ComMar Sales, LLC, of Tiverton, R.I., to represent its yachting life rafts, Viking said in a release today.
The rep group’s main focus will be increasing Viking’s market share in the recreation and fishing industries on the East Coast of the U.S. It will introduce Viking’s products to new sales opportunities, including boatbuilders and dealers.
Its nine outside sales representatives will also work with the company’s existing service facilities to offer sales support.
“Because we specialize in selling high-quality products and have a tremendous amount of experience with marine safety products, our relationship with Viking is an ideal match,” said Norm MacLeod, partner at ComMar.
“This agreement highlights Viking’s commitment to growing our market presence with recreational boaters in the United States,” said Al Osle, Viking’s managing director.
