Mastry honored by Old Salt Fishing Club
ST. PETERSBERG, Fla. – Mastry Engine Center was honored with the “Sponsor of the Year Award,” recently at the annual banquet for the Old Salt Fishing Club of Madeira Beach, Fla., the company said in a recent release.
Brent Magsig, the company’s area sales manager, accepted the award, which the Old Salt Fishing Club bases on sponsorship at its many events.
Not only has the company been a monetary contributor, according to Tom Verdensky, president of the club, but Mastry offers a great deal of support.
“Mastry has representatives at all of our functions, including meetings and tournaments,” said Verdensky. “They volunteer their time to help run the events and participate in them as well.”
Mastry also helps create fun activities for the anglers. In each tournament, the company sponsors the Yanmar Engine Division, which awards the top angler using a Yanmar engine with $500.
“Coming from the Old Salt Fishing Club, this award is very meaningful to us,” said Magsig. “We are proud to support an organization that gives back so much to the community.”
