Brewer to offer Sea Tow memberships with sale
SOUTHOLD, N.Y. and WESTBROOK, Conn. – Sea Tow Central Connecticut, a franchise of Sea Tow Services International, Inc., has signed a year-long agreement with Brewer Yacht Sales to provide free 60-day memberships on every boat sold in 2005 in any of Brewer’s 12 locations throughout the Northeast.
The agreement is effective immediately and is good on any boat sold by Brewer throughout 2005. This program between Sea Tow and Brewer Yacht Sales allows boaters to be towed, if needed, to the port of their choice as opposed to other programs that simply tow boaters to the nearest safe port.
“With over 3,500 boats sold in the last eight years alone, Brewer is keenly aware of what it takes to not only close a sale but, more importantly, to provide our valued customers with service after the sale,” said Dave Pugsley, general manager of Brewer Yacht Sales, in a joint release from the companies today. “We see tremendous value in providing our customers with the peace of mind of knowing that, when they take ownership of their new boat, it will come with 60 days of on-water assistance.”
“Our statistics show that within the first 60 to 90 days of taking ownership of the boat is when the most common boating mishaps occur because the boater is getting used to their new vessel,” said Capt. Thomas Kehlenbach III, owner of Sea Tow Central Connecticut. “Because of this we were very happy to partner with Brewer to ensure the boater’s Peace of Mind during this adjustment period. We believe that, together, we’re sending a strong message that the boater’s safety is our priority.”
