Mack Boring holds dealer meeting
UNION, N.J. – Mack Boring & Parts Co., a distributor of marine and industrial engines, generators, transmissions and pumps, recently held its first national dealer meeting in Atlantic City, with more than 85 dealers from 21 states attending, the company reported in a press release today.
Participants at the dealer meeting were given the opportunity to attend 45-minute educational sessions presented by Mack Boring personnel. These sessions included topics on marketing, warranty and service, parts, marine engines and dealer development. Teleflex Electronics conducted an additional seminar on its line of products. Dealers were also able to visit the displays of more than 15 vendors and take a ride on the three boats available for sea trials.
Dealers attended an awards dinner where more than 20 awards were presented. Top honors were given to Johnson’s Boatworks of Cranston, R.I. for “Overall Sales” and to Silver Cloud Harbor Marina of Forked River, N.J., for “Overall Dealer.”
