Cobalt Sales School attracts record numbers

NEODESHA, Kan. – Record numbers of salespeople recently attended the annual sales school held at the world headquarters of Cobalt Boats in Neodesha, Kan., the company reported in a recent press release.

Nearly 300 people from around the world attended this year’s school, the theme of which was “Beyond the Beauty,” which focused education around product and manufacturing techniques unique to Cobalt Boats. In addition to product knowledge sessions, other sessions reinforced aspects of customer service before and after the sale, Cobalt said.

“The Cobalt Sales School has become an important educational program with our dealers,” said Paxson St. Clair, Cobalt’s president. “In today’s competitive market, it is critical our dealer sales people have a thorough understanding of our competitive advantages.”

Cobalt also recently added three new dealers to its distribution network. Winnipeg Water Sports in Winnipeg Canada; Glen Craft Marina and Resort in Glen Lake, Mich.; and Destin Sunrise Marine in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. all represent significant opportunities for Cobalt’s growth, according to St. Clair.

“In addition to growth opportunities, these dealers were selected because of their ability and attitude to service customers, which is paramount to the success of Cobalt,” St. Clair said.
