BMG to open Newport office
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Marine industry recruiting firm Brooks Marine Group will open an office at the Newport Shipyard in Newport, R.I., as part of an aggressive expansion plan, BMG said in a release today.
The new office will officially open for business on Jan 3, and will primarily serve client companies located throughout New England and the Midwest, while BMG’s Fort Lauderdale operation will continue its focus geographically on the Southeast, Pacific Northwest and Europe.
“Our move to Fort Lauderdale two years ago has positively impacted our business, particularly with client companies throughout Florida,” said Neal Harrell, BMG president. “As we looked at the reasons why, we kept coming back to the fact that to best serve our customers, we need to have an intimate understanding of their company cultures. The best way to do this is to spend time at their facilities. This strategy includes not only the New England office but eventually an international location as well.”
