Edson names Pacific Focus as Northwest Rep
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. – The Edson Corp., a marine steering and accessories manufacturer, has named Scott Smith of Pacific Focus Associates, Inc. to represent its marine division in Washington state and Oregon, the company said in a recent release.
Smith will call on boat builders and Edson’s authorized dealer and service center network in those states, with a focus on business development for Edson marine products.
In February of this year, Edson named Pacific Focus partners Rusty Rutherford and Stan Susman to call on the company’s dealer and service center network in California.
Edson said the addition of Smith consolidates its representation in the western states.
“Pacific Focus has given Edson a solid foundation in the California marine market, so the addition of their associate Scott Smith in the Northwest was a natural fit,” said Will Keene, Edson’s president. “We look forward to continuing to work with Pacific Focus to help grow the Edson business on the West Coast.”
Smith was also previously employed by West Marine, Wesmar and Nyman Marine Products. He is based out of Renton, Wash.
