Houston BTA elects new officers

HOUSTON – The Boating Trades Association of Metropolitan Houston has recently named its new officers for the 2004-2005 term, the organization said in a recent release.

Serving on the board during the upcoming term are: Mike Hood (president), Harold Sharp (vice president), Darryl Hurst (secretary) and George Evans, who will be the treasurer.

“I hope to keep our organization alive and healthy by continuing an excellent tradition of making boating more attractive to the consumer,” Hood said.

Also this year, Homer Lambert and Wayne Perkins will be joining current directors Bob Johnson, Terry Helton, Mike DuBois, Rob Garner, and Rudy Kleimann.

Phil Keeter, president of the Marine Retailers Association of America, installed the new officers at the last Boating Trades Association meeting.
