Marie named to ABYC Foundation Board of Directors
EDGEWATER, Md. – The American Boat and Yacht Council Foundation recently named J.J. Marie, president and CEO of Zodiac of North America, to its Board of Directors, the ABYC said in a release.
“I am delighted to welcome J.J. to the ABYC Foundation’s Board of Directors,” said Skip Burdon, president of ABYC and secretary of the ABYC Foundation Board. “The rich and diverse public service and business experience that J.J. brings to the Foundation Board makes him a valuable addition as the Foundation prepares to kick off a giving campaign in September to celebrate ABYC’s 50th Anniversary.”
“The ABYC Board of Directors created the ABYC Foundation, with an overall goal of strengthening ABYC’s mission,” said Marie. “I am looking forward to developing partnerships with other marine organizations, government agencies and individuals, on behalf of the ABYC Foundation. Our goal is to provide ABYC with much-needed resources to positively impact boating safety well into the 21st Century.”
