Hatteras hands out its Dealer Awards
NEW BERN, N.C. – Hatteras Yachts distributed its 2004 Dealer Awards at a recent ceremony in North Carolina, the company said in a release last week.
Hatteras’ most celebrated award, “The Salesperson of the Year,” was presented to Tom George of MarineMax Motor Yachts in Clearwater, Fla., for delivering the highest value of product during the 2004 dealer year.
Hatteras’ “Top Gun Award” was given to Agie Vicente of Antilles Yachts Sales of Puerto Rico, honoring the salesperson who sells the most Hatteras boats to customers who previously owned competitive products. Vicente is the only salesperson in Hatteras’ history to win the award three times.
Jarrett Bay Yacht Sales, headquartered in North Carolina, won Hatteras’ “Dealer Performance Award,” a recognition given to the dealership that best meets or exceeds the goals set annually by Hatteras and that demonstrates the ability to increase market share in its region.
Salespeople honored for their exceptional level of success with the “Distinguished Sales Achievement award” were Agie Vicente of Antilles Yachts Sales in Puerto Rico, Bob Hoste of Cardinal Yacht Sales in New Jersey, Chris Cunningham of MarineMax, Paul Reed of Toledo Beach Marina in Michigan, Peter Hopwood of MarineMax, Steve Bozas-Wessinger of MarineMax, Tim Jones of Gulf Coast Hatteras in Alabama, Tom George of MarineMax, and Walter Sea of MarineMax.
Hatteras also recognized individual dealerships for their sales achievement with gold, silver and bronze awards. The Gold level award was presented to MarineMax Motor Yachts in Florida. Silver level honorees were Antilles Yachts Sales from Puerto Rico, Boston Yacht Sales located in Massachusetts, Gulf Coast Hatteras in Alabama, Jarrett Bay Yacht Sales in North Carolina, Toledo Beach Marina in Michigan, and S.N.O. Yachts in Italy. Those receiving bronze awards were Cardinal Yacht Sales in New Jersey and Caribe Hatteras Sales in Jamaica.
