Boating radio show adds 10 new markets

OVIEDO, Fla. – The World of Boating (WOB) radio show, a nationally syndicated radio show for boaters, recently added 10 additional markets to their network of station affiliates, the show’s producers reported in a statement yesterday.

Approximately 35 US radio stations now air WOB every week. WOB is also broadcast 5 times a week nationwide on the Sirius Satellite Radio Network and worldwide via the web at www.worldofboating.com.

The mission of the World of Boating radio show is to promote the boating lifestyle and to keep current boaters active, according to the show’s producers. Listeners call in with questions and share stories about their own experiences at sea.

The WOB concept is modeled after ScubaRadio, a syndicated radio show devoted to the diving lifestyle that has been on the air for over 7 years and produced by Overboard Entertainment, Inc., the show’s producers reported.
