Iridium chooses public relations firm
NORFOLK, Va. – Marine communications provider Iridium Satellite LLC has chosen Rhodes Communications to supply public relations services for its global mobile satellite communications network, Iridium said in a press release yesterday.
Rhodes Communications will be responsible for writing and distributing press releases, coordinating sponsorships, providing PR support at major trade shows in North America, Europe and the Far East and advising Iridium on advertising media outlets in U.S. and international markets, according to the company.
Through a constellation of 66 low-earth orbiting satellites, Iridium provides mobile satellite voice and data solutions, with complete coverage of the earth, including oceans, airways and Polar Regions, the company said.
