Eastman Chemical increases resin prices

KINGSPORT, Tenn. – Eastman Chemical Company (NYSE: EMN) will increase prices on all unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins by U.S. $0.04 per pound, the company reported in a recent press release.

The increase applies to all shipments delivered on or after June 1.

Eastman’s Composite Polymers Business produces a broad line of unsaturated polyester resins and vinyl ester resins for use in reinforced composites and casting manufacturing. These customized products are formulated for a variety of markets, including marine applications.
