Raymarine to sponsor Backwater Fishing School
NASHUA, N.H. – Marine electronics manufacturer Raymarine will be a sponsor of this year’s Genmar/Evinrude Backwater Fishing School, according to a Raymarine press release today.
The school is designed to introduce newcomers to fishing or enhance the current skills of someone already familiar with the sport. The sessions are held at Tarpon Lodge in Pine Island, Fla., for three days and four nights, April through November, Raymarine said.
An instructor from Raymarine teaches the marine electronics courses that familiarize students with the electronics on the school’s boats, the company said.
