Johnson Communications wins Rolex/IGFA accounts

DANIA BEACH, Fla. – Rolex U.S.A. and the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) have chosen Johnson Communications, Inc., a marine and outdoor sports focused public/media relations agency, to represent their events in the United States and internationally, according to a Johnson press release today.

Johnson Communications said it will handle media relations and creative responsibilities for numerous projects surrounding the two Rolex/IGFA world championship tournaments in May, and the annual Rolex/IGFA Hall of Fame induction ceremonies held in the fall.

“With the projected growth of these world championship events, we needed strong media relations support,” said Mike Myatt, IGFA director of marketing. “Johnson Communications brings exceptional experience, tournament fishing knowledge, a solid list of contacts plus enthusiasm and the necessary skills working with the media here in the U.S. as well as worldwide.”
