Davis Instruments acquires Olympic Manufacturing
GURNEE, Ill. – Davis Instruments has acquired the Olympic Manufacturing Company of Sequim, Wash., a company press release said yesterday.
As a result, Davis marine products will now include boat dollies, trolling plates, line snubbers, safety lines and dehumidifiers, according to the company.
Sold under the Davis brand, the new products will be displayed in World Paks that feature descriptions and instructions in many languages.
“The acquisition expands and complements Davis’s product line,” said company President Bob Selig. “Olympic’s wide range of highly respected products enhance outdoor adventures for boaters and RVers, and these products closely align with ours.”
Davis also produces precision weather stations and automotive computers, including the CarChip launched at SEMA.
