Go Boating magazine adopts bigger size, new look

IRVINE, Calif. – Go Boating magazine has completed a redesign of the publication with its January 2004 issue, it reported in a statement yesterday. The redesign includes what it is calling a substantial increase in the magazine’s size and format, which is now 9 inches x 10 and 7/8 inches.

This size increase represents nearly an inch in girth, and the magazine’s total page count increased by an even greater amount as advertising page demand grew by 24.5 percent over the same issue last year. This makes the January 2004 Go Boating Boat Buyer’s Guide one of the biggest issues in the magazine’s history.

The buyer’s guide contains more than 3,000 new boat models for 2004, and it includes a guide to the latest inboard, stern drive and outboard motors and a reference designed to help readers navigate through “the many issues that face the new boat and engine buyer today,” reported the magazine. The January issue goes on sale at newsstands December 26.
