EMarineTraining.com offering two-week courses
PORTLAND, Maine – EMarineTraining.com is offering two-week courses to complement its six-week curriculum already in existence, the training program reported in a recent statement. The two-week courses offer more intense and detailed information on topics ranging from details in yacht design to project management.
EMarineTraining.com will launch its new two-week courses the week of December 8 with Propeller Selection for Boats and Small Ships, taught by frequent IBEX speaker and Professional BoatBuilder contributor Chris Barry.
Within the course on propeller selection, students review resistance calculations, inspect trial data, and analyze vibration, according to the statement. The instructor also touches upon various means of propulsion, including surface-piercing props and jets. Enrollment guarantees use of prop-calculating formulae and spreadsheets created by the instructor.
The two-week courses include two one-hour live online classes, plus downloads and an active discussion board.
