Sea Tow adds Sea Insure program
SOUTHOLD, N.Y. – Sea Tow Services International Inc., an international marine assistance company, has started Sea Insure, a comprehensive marine insurance program for Sea Tow members, Sea Tow said in a press release Wednesday.
“With nearly 25 years of expertise in assisting the recreational boating community, we know exactly what it takes to service and protect boaters and their watercraft,” said Capt. Joe Frohnhoefer, Sea Tow chairman and CEO. “We’ve combined that expertise with an in-depth knowledge of marine insurance to develop a policy that is truly tailored to recreational boaters’ needs.”
The Sea Insure program rewards safety-conscious boaters with a comprehensive policy offering that can be tailored to fit their specific needs, the company stated. Prospective Sea Insure members will have the opportunity to replace traditional towing riders with key coverage features that suit their individual boating lifestyles because of their affiliation with Sea Tow, according to the company.
Sea Insure policies can include coverage for scratching, denting, ice and freezing, electronics, mechanical breakdown and marine environmental damage.
