Morse Industries’ NC location seeing dramatic growth

KENT, Wash. – Morse Industries, a boat-building component supplier, has seen first-quarter sales at its Charlotte, N.C. location grow 71 percent compared to the same period in 2003, the company said in a press release yesterday.

The company said it opened the North Carolina location in September 2002 and has seen growth numbers out of that location ever since.

“Charlotte has been a great central location for us. Most of our customers are serviceable within 24 hours by truck delivery,” said Jeffrey Morse, owner and account manager in the Mid-Atlantic region.

“Marine manufacturers are optimistic about sales this year and early signs indicate an economic pickup. As a supplier of boat-building components, we feel the anticipation of economic recovery on our bottom line,” said Steve Klein, director of Marine Business Development at Morse.
