CCP raises resin, gel coat prices

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — CCP has joined Reichhold, Eastman Chemical Company and AOC in announcing an increase of $0.04 per pound for the company’s unsaturated polyester resin products, gel coat products and ancillary items.

According to Del Wilkinson, Vice President for CCP Composites, the increase can be attributed to continued increase in raw material costs. The change takes effect February 9, 2004.

“We continue to be committed to the long term,” Wilkinson said, “and support that commitment by emphasizing our internal resources—R&D, production, and technical services—and ensuring that we focus our attention on anticipating and providing for the needs of our customers to the best of our ability.
“As always, our aim is to provide the best products at the best possible prices.”
