PMY hires senior editor
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. — Jason Y. Wood has been hired as senior editor of PMY magazine. Wood has been executive editor of Yachting for the past two years and served as the magazine’s managing editor for two years prior. He spent eight years prior to that at Saltwater Sportsman where he rose to the position of managing editor.
“Jason is a real find for PMY,” Editor Richard Thiel said in a statement. “There are only a few people in the marine industry that can match his length and breadth of experience. In addition, he’s a real idea guy, too. He is a team collaborator and will be a great asset to our already seasoned team. We’re very lucky to have him.”
Wood has also written for Boston Business Journal and Inc. magazine, and is a graduate of Bowdoin College. He is an avid fly fisherman and boater, and lives with his family in Darien, Conn.
