Sailor’s Wharf’s long-time service manager passes away
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Michael Robertson, retired service manager for Sailor’s Wharf, passed away on Dec. 26, 2010, according to a recent release from the company.
Robertson began as a rigger at Sailor’s Wharf in 1998. He served as the company’s service manager for the past eight years before leaving the company last March.
Robertson was an accomplished sailor, sailing two trans-Atlantic trips. He had owned sail lofts in Holland and St. Petersburg.
