Tigé promotes Rick Correll
ABILENE, Texas – Tigé Boats has promoted Rick Correll to the position of vice president of manufacturing, it reported in a statement earlier this week.
Correll has worked with Tigé as manufacturing manager since joining the company in 2006. With 25 years of experience in the marine industry, Correll has worked at every level of the manufacturing process for some of the largest manufacturers in the marine industry, according to the boat builder. He has also been involved with developing innovative ideas that have resulted in several patents within the industry, the company reported. Since he joined Tigé, Correll has been responsible for the entire manufacturing process.
“Rick has helped Tigé achieve a new level of production efficiency and product quality,” said Tigé CEO Charlie Pigeon. “His emphasis on employee training, team building, manufacturing innovation and unyielding quality assurance throughout the line has helped us efficiently build the highest quality boats in the industry.”
Pigeon added that the proficiency of the Tigé manufacturing team is an important factor contributing to the company’s current financial strength and continued steady growth in the inboard market.
