Former Godfrey executive dies
ELKHART, Ind. – Former Godfrey COO William (Bill) J. Deputy passed away April 28 through cancer complications, the company said in a statement Wednesday.
Deputy was a lifelong boater and worked in and around the industry for more than 40 years. He served as the chief operating officer for Godfrey Marine until the company’s sale in November 2005. Subsequently, Bill served on the board of directors for Nautic Global Group.
Donations are being made in Deputy’s memory to the University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation, Leukemia Research.
