Jarrett Bay names new president
BEAUFORT, N.C. – Jarrett Bay Yacht Sales has appointed Jan Boone to president, the company said in a press release Friday. Boone was most recently vice president of sales for the Hatteras Yachts division of Brunswick Corporation.
As JBYS president, Boone will oversee the new and pre-owned vessel sales efforts for JBYS’ five locations from Maryland to South Carolina. Other key responsibilities include company-wide strategic planning; annual and monthly sales objectives definition and management; sales and market trend analysis; and manufacturer and customer relations supervision.
Prior to her service as vice president of sales, Boone served in a progression of sales-related positions with Hatteras Yachts since 1983. Boone will work out of JBYS’ headquarters in Beaufort, N.C.
