Aeré adds director
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Aeré has appointed Bryan Day as director of business development, the fender manufacturer said in a statement yesterday.
“[Day] has a broad background in megayachts, our key market, and he even worked on the QE2,” said Gary Abernathy, president.
Day started his marine industry career working for the Sealink Stenna Line in 1980, running the onboard 16mm movie theaters. In 1995, his years at sea and AV experience secured him employment at LINN. Bryan’s first post was on the Queen Elizabeth 2.
During his time aboard, he completed three circumnavigations of the globe and 69 transatlantic crossings before LINN shifted into the superyacht arena in 1998. Day moved to the United States and specified entertainment systems for Aussie Rules, Phoenix and Ambrosia, among others.
