KVH names North American sales director
MIDDLETOWN, R.I. – KVH Industries, Inc. has promoted Jim George to director of sales, satellite products, the company said in a press release yesterday. In his new role, George will manage the day-to-day efforts of and help establish the strategic direction for KVH’s U.S.-based satellite sales group and its efforts in the maritime and land mobile markets. Most recently, he served as KVH’s national sales manager for marine products, a position he held for 5 of his 12 years with the company.
“Jim brings a unique perspective to KVH’s satellite sales efforts, drawing on a wealth of experience gained from his time as a technician on our manufacturing floor, as a member of our technical support group, and in the sales department,” said Ian Palmer, executive vice president of satellite sales.
